Lucas Oil Race: Sonoma Raceway


Join us for one of our 2026 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Events at Sonoma Raceway! It's been a while since we have been able to host an event at Sonoma for the Lucas Oil Racers and we are excited to race on Wednesday and Thursday of the National Event! More Details coming soon!

Sonoma Event Schedule


 July 13th, 2026:

Gate 1 Opens for Stacking: 6:00am

Parking & Credentials Open: 8:00am - 6:00pm

Stacking Lot Open after 6:00pm


July 14th, 2026:

Parking & Credentials Open: 8:00am - 6:00pm

Test & Tune: 10:00am - 5:00pm

Stacking Lot Open after 6:00pm

July 15th, 2026:

Parking & Credentials Open: 7:00am

Quailing & Time Runs: 8:00am

July 16th, 2026:

Gates Open: 7:00am

Eliminations: 8:00am

Daily Run Schedules


Tech Card Policy Reminder

Reminder to all participants, any driver making a run prior to submitting an electronic tech card and not signing the online or onsite waiver will be disqualified from the event. Disqualification applies to the driver and vehicle in which the illegal run was involved. Should a driver have a second entry in a different category at the same event, the second entry will be allowed to continue providing tech inspection and waiver signing was completed prior to making a run in the vehicle.

Tech Card Policy Reminder

If any corrections are required after submitting a tech card. Competitor will notify the race director or NHRA staff of any necessary corrections as soon as possible. NHRA will provide the competitor with a link to edit the tech card.

 

Class Changes (STK, SS, COMP)

Stock Super, Stock, and Comp competitors that request a class change after submitting a tech card. Racer notifies the tech department of a class change prior to making a qualifying attempt. Tech department confirms vehicle fits within the class then makes applicable changes to weight sticker, etc. Tech department notifies the tower of change
